In 2017 Genco South Group launched its cadet program. Since that time 376 of our ex-cadets have already achieved officer’s position and eighty seven of them have grown up from the cadet’s position to the position of 2nd Officer or 3rd Engineer. We hire cadets for container carriers, ro-ro vessels of foreign shipowners. We usually place one Deck, one Engine and one electric cadet on each vessel.

To apply to Deck / Engine/ Electric cadet position you should:

• Be a student of Ukrainian Maritime Educational Organizations;

• Pass interview with Superintendent;

• Pass Tests: Maritime English, Professional;

After being selected cadets are professionally developed and monitored from induction stage to promotion to the rank of the Officer / Engineer.
